Now-a-days Social Media is one of the effective and engaging platform to be exposed and explore.
When it comes about Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms, I will say that they have built a very strong base not only for connection but also to promote oneself. As Facebook has developed their features step by step to their users that they can get adapt with easily.
Facebook community and group are one of their best feature which gathers a bunch of users under a topic or niche or what they are interested about.
There are many groups developed on many topics, and the best part is most of them are always active that means there plenty of potential customers are being live on those communities.
I find there many groups regarding promotion or you can say Buy and sale group where users can promote their service or product very easily. The most useful thing what I get there is one to one conversation to make a direct sale. So I don’t need to depend on any promotor or middleman.
On the other hand, you can also promote your business profile by sharing good content on related groups.
For example, if anybody wants to promote their service related to Web design, they should find some community related to their service join them and promote with their business page content or web content. I think that would be very effective for the outreach as well as promotion.
I won’t mention any single platform as a preference because every platform has been established on their own concept. Every platform has its features those have been devolved to gather more users because “the more crowd you can catch the bigger your market is”.

It’s hard to be sure how much money they make from user data because of target advertisements, by definition, show users relevant ads by using their data. But in March 2018, the now infamous Cambridge Analytical scandal revealed that Facebook had been making money from user data far more directly than imagined.
Using an advertiser-supported model, rather than charging each user individually, is unquestionably the easiest way for them to garner as many users as possible.
Lastly, I would say that the business concept of Social media is very easy and effective to its users. The purpose of making connections is to promote oneself rather than being socialized.
