Rights and takedown

Every ad in the archive belongs to its owners. We document it for commentary, education and the industry record, and we act quickly when an owner asks us to change or remove something.

Effective: November 1, 2026

Who owns the work

The ads, images, videos, logos and copy shown in the archive remain the property of the brands, agencies and creators who made them. We do not claim ownership of any of it, and nothing on this site grants anyone a license to reuse it.

How we show it

  • At web resolution only. We do not offer high-resolution downloads.
  • Whole and uncropped, so the work is shown as it was made.
  • Always with the brand and, where we can verify it, the agency and the people who made it.
  • With context: each record is part of a documented, searchable archive, not a gallery of images.
  • Video plays from the official upload where one exists. We keep an archival copy only so the record survives if the original is removed.

If you own the work

You can ask us to:

  • Correct a record: wrong credits, dates, names or descriptions.
  • Add missing credits or better-quality material.
  • Remove an image or video, while keeping the text record.
  • Remove the record entirely.

We will respond within seven days. Corrections are usually made within that time. When a removal request comes from the rights holder or their representative, we take the material down while we review it.

How to make a request

Use "Request a correction or takedown" on the record, or email [email protected] with:

  1. The link to the record.
  2. Your name, organization and your connection to the work.
  3. What you would like us to change or remove, and why.
  4. For removals: confirmation that you own the rights or act for the owner.
