Terms of use
The archive is free to read, search and cite. These terms explain what you can do with it and what we ask in return.
1. Using the archive
You may browse, search and link to any page, and quote short extracts for commentary, teaching, research or reporting, with a citation to The Ads of Bangladesh.
2. The ads belong to their owners
The advertising shown on this site belongs to the brands, agencies and creators who made it. These terms give you no right to copy, republish or commercially use any ad. For that, contact the owner. See Rights and takedown.
3. Our own content
Our written analysis, editor’s notes and site design are © The Ads of Bangladesh. You may quote them with a citation and a link. Republishing whole articles needs our permission.
4. Open data
The archive’s metadata is licensed separately under CC BY 4.0, as described on the Open data page. That license covers the metadata only, not the ads.
5. What you send us
When you submit work, credits or corrections, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are allowed to share it. You give us permission to publish it in the archive, edit it for accuracy and style, and include its metadata in the open dataset. You keep any rights you already have in material you send.
6. Fair use of the site
Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site, submit false or misleading material, or impersonate a brand, agency or person. Automated access is welcome if it is polite: respect robots.txt and rate limits, and identify your crawler.
7. Accuracy
We work hard to keep records accurate, but the archive is provided as it stands. Facts may be incomplete, and credits may change as better information arrives. Do not rely on the archive as legal proof of authorship or ownership.
8. Links to other sites
Records may link to brands, agencies and video platforms. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction].
