Language Day Campaign – Brands Initiative for Visually Impaired People

In 2000, UN declared February 21 as the International Mother Language Day, recognizing Bangladesh’s battle and sacrifices made for the mother tongue, Bangla. 21st February is celebrated as International Mother Language Day across the world and as martyrs day in Bangladesh.

On this International Mother Language Day February 21, 2022, we observed to building materials brands are took initiative for the blind or visually impaired people. Lets Explore.

Fresh Cement launched the campaign Unseen Achievement with building Shaheed Minar equipped with braille for the visually impaired in mind,  with the objective to convey a concise history of the Language Movement to the kids through the braille writing system.

Akij Ceramics

Akij Ceramics has launched Brailled engraving tiles with the objective to create friendly walls and floors for visually impaired people. The company also offers wall and floor tiles with customized braille engravings.
